Our story started more than seven years ago when fate decided to play matchmaker and brought two young hearts together. Makayla was just 14, and Ben was 15, living miles apart in Georgia and Texas. But thanks to a mutual friend, our paths crossed, and the rest, as they say, is history!

From the very first conversation, an inexplicable bond formed—an unbreakable thread weaving through the fabric of our lives. Despite the miles that stretched between us, our connection transcended distance, blossoming into a friendship that knew no bounds.

As we shared our hopes, dreams, and aspirations, it became evident that our bond was extremely special. On January 3, 2017, We confessed our feelings for each other, and our love story officially began!

The day we finally met in person remains etched in the depths of our memories as the happiest moment of our lives. Through the years, we witnessed each other's growth, celebrating milestones big and small—from high school graduations to college commencements, from birthdays to first days on the job. In moments of triumph and adversity, we stood by each other's side, our love serving as an unwavering anchor. We became each other's rock, each other's safe harbor—a sanctuary of love and acceptance.

Our love story was forged in the crucible of time, shaped by the seasons of change that swept through our lives. And with each passing year, our bond grew stronger, our love more profound. Little did we know, as wide-eyed teenagers lost in conversation, that we were speaking to our future husband and wife.

Now, as we stand on the threshold of a new chapter, we are filled with a sense of awe and anticipation. The next page of our story unfolds on December 16, 2025—a day we have dreamt of, a day we have longed for.
