We met at a time when neither of us was looking, but somehow we both knew it was exactly the right moment. A simple message turned into hours of talking, and even though we were in two different cities, the connection felt effortless, like we’d known each other our whole lives. From the start, we became each other’s safe place. We opened up easily, pushed one another to grow, and supported each other through new jobs, new goals, and new chapters. Even on the days we were tired or unsure, we showed up for each other. That’s when we realized this wasn’t just dating, this was a partnership. We’re not perfect but we were perfect for each other.

We fell in love through late night phone calls, long distance drives, laughter, and learning how to navigate life as a team. We motivated each other, celebrated each other, and helped each other heal. Somewhere along the way, “me and you” naturally became “us.” When the proposal happened, it wasn’t just a big moment, it felt like confirmation of everything we already knew. Saying “yes” was easy, because choosing each other has always been easy.
