Our journey began in the summer of 2018 when we met-completely out of the blue. Somehow, from the very start, we just knew. We made it official on September 13, 2018, and what started as a spark quickly turned into something undeniable.
Like any real love story, ours has had its highs and lows. At the beginning, life was moving fast-I was starting college, and Shannon was diving into a new career path. Then came the pandemic, and while the world slowed down, we found time to grow even closer. We explored the outdoors, learned more about each other, and discovered just how strong our bond really was. 
In September 2020, we bought our first home and began building our little family-starting with dogs, of course. In March 2022, I left for the academy, and Shannon held down the fort (and all the pups). By October, I graduated, and we made the move back to my home county. Just two months later, we bought our second home-our newest adventure. 
After 4.5 years together, Shannon popped the question during a getaway to Arkansas-and of course, I said yes!
In May of 2024, we felt called to open our hearts and home to a new kind of adventure—becoming dog foster parents. What started as a leap of faith quickly turned into a full house of love (and wagging tails). These days, we share our home with our three beloved fur babies and four foster pups, and there’s never a dull—or quiet—moment.
By the time we say “I do,” we’ll have been together for seven amazing years. From spontaneous road trips to cozy nights with our pack, we’ve built a life full of laughter, love, and a whole lot of dog hair. We cherish time spent with our family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and soaking in the little moments together.
We feel incredibly blessed to have such a strong circle of support surrounding us, and we thank God every day for the life we get to live and the people we get to live it with.
