We met in 7th grade at Valley Middle School and began dating in high school where we went to both junior and senior proms and met some of our life-long best friends

Since we were too young to drive, during our first dates, we were accompanied by our moms haha! To name a few, we went to Macaroni Grill and Boomer’s with Silvia (Mikie’s mom) and the movie theater with Tobi (Makayla’s mom).

From highschool, we got our licenses and got our first jobs, Mikie’s at Ralph’s and Makayla at Flippin Pizza.

During our early 20s, we moved into our first studio apartment. It was Mikie’s first and shortly Makayla moved into after. Together we adopted our first dog, Louie ❤️ 🪽From the studio apartment, we moved into the house we are currently living and are forever grateful to have made so many memories

We both share a love for making art, music, traveling, and hanging out with our friends and family.

Over the last 16 years, we have traveled to various parts of Mexico, the Philippines (where we got engaged), several national parks (Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Zion, Kings Canyon, Sequoias, Sedona, Joshua Tree) and some parts of Colorado, Arizona, Nevada, and Montana.

We are also huge fans of music which has brought us to multiple festivals throughout California such as Cali Roots in Monterey Bay, Coachella, Outsidelands in San Franciso, Desert Days, and Crssd in San Diego.

Our future goals would be to continue traveling and enjoying music (many more Karaoke nights) with hopes of raising a family and maybe even a few chickens.
