Our Wedding

<p>Makayla’s mother was golfing and saw Andrew and told Andrew that “he would be perfect for her daughter” and a friend texted makayla to come up for food and drinks. Makayla came up and met Andrew and they had a nice conversation. A few weeks later Makayla and Andrew went golfing together. Andrew asked Makayla out on a date to the movies and dinner. Makayla then friend zoned Andrew for about 2 months. Makayla then realized how much she liked him and then they started hanging out everyday and haven’t stopped since then. We are each others lobsters </p>

As the bride's little sister, I've shared a lifetime of memories and witnessed her biggest milestones. From childhood adventures to her wedding day, I've been by her side through it all. Now, I'm thrilled to be a part of this exciting new chapter as she and her soon-to-be husband, Andrew, embark on their journey together. With countless shared experiences and a heart full of love, I'm honored to support them as they start this next phase of their lives.

Samantha 

I met Makayla in 2014, and we quickly became friends. We survived middle and high school together, swam on the same swim team for years, and have only grown closer since. When she started seeing Andrew, it was clear they were meant to be. My husband and I have loved getting to know him, and the four of us have had many fun game nights and dinners. We’re thrilled for them and wish them a lifetime of happiness. It’s an honor for me to stand by Makayla as she marries the love of her life.

Chloe 

Since we met in swim Makayla has been my lifelong friend, who introduced me to Andrew, her sweet and caring boyfriend at the time. It means so much to me that I get to return the favor of being in her & Andrew’s big day as we have dreamt of moments like this since we were in middle school. I knew we would be here one day because how he treats her every time I see them together 

Mallori 

Hi I’m Bailey I’m Makayla’s cousin. Makayla and I grew up together and were very close from singing “the lion sleep tonight” at karaoke any chance we got. To our long walks where we talk about anything and everything. We even lived together at the start of her relationship with Andrew so I was able to see how much their relationship has grown. I am so grateful I get to be a part of this day and celebrate Makayla and Andrew. I’m so excited for what the future holds for them.

Bailey 

I met Andrew in 7th grade and have been friends ever since. We have been friends through all the ups and downs of life, we have given and received advice. We enjoy participating in each other’s hobbies, such as fishing and golf! I remember when he met Makayla and talked through how to handle being “friend zoned”. Now I am looking forward to seeing them get married!

Riley 

When Andrew started dating Makayla I knew that they were a great fit for each other. Andrew wasn’t scared to show his goofy side and all of his quirks right away. I could tell that both their goofy would make them happy for a long time to come. Now the two of them are inseparable. Andrew and I have similar careers so we had something to talk about and connect on right away. He’s always willing to give a helping hand whenever Sam and I need it. Here’s to a lifetime of golf, sharing laughs, and hanging TVs together. 

James 

 As the older sibling, I feel it’s my duty to point out that Andrew and I didn’t always get along growing up. In fact, we were professionals at pushing each other’s buttons, a talent we both perfected over the years...but somewhere between the sibling squabbles and the occasional truce, we found a friend, someone  to check in with and root for. I am proud of the person I get to call my brother. Then Makayla entered the picture, and I knew instantly she was special. Not only does she keep up with his humor and quirks, but she also brings out a softer, more patient side of him, one I wasn’t entirely sure existed. She’s his match in every way: kind, witty, and smart enough to know when to join in on the joke and when to just shake her head. Together, they’re proof that true love is part romance, part friendship, and part finding someone who can tolerate your weirdness for a lifetime.
