MaKenna and Ethan met freshman year at Jay County High School in Radio and TV. Ethan was in the process of trying to drop the class, and MaKenna just took it for fun. Little did they know meeting each other in this class would be the start to their most favorite love story. After months and months of "talking," MaKenna and Ethan FINALLY started dating on 01/20/2017... (Ethan apparently thought they were already dating so he did not ask earlier??) After that day, they have been non-stop making all types of memories with each others' family and friends. In 2018, Ethan and his family moved to southern Indiana which led to MaKenna and Ethan doing long distance for the remainder of their high school careers. Even after all of the hours and hours of traveling back and forth to see each other, they both can say it shaped them to be who they are and the couple they have become. After high school, their college careers began! All of the Franklin football games and the IU Fort Wayne dental hygiene clinic days have flown by, with so many unforgettable people and memories made. With many doubts surrounding them at the beginning, they have been able to successfully make it through 6+ years of long distance. On December 21, 2023 Ethan had made the plan to propose to MaKenna in Arizona with family. That day is full of some of the best memories Ethan and MaKenna could have asked for. They can confidently say they have some of THEE very best people surrounding them. Ethan and MaKenna had both decided years ago that they were wanting to have a more intimate ceremony, and come back home for a beautiful reception with all of their loved ones joined together. They are so excited for the many memories from this day, and the beautiful people who will be there with them.
