Makenna and Luke met for the first time at none other than the East End in Lovington the night of Lovington Sesquencential. Despite serious conspiring on Hunter Kamm and Harper Nebergall's part, Makenna wasn't so sure. But she did notice his beat-up Wrangler jeans, yes, really! After some pursing on Luke's end, Makenna came around and here we are!

He took her on their first date a few weeks later. That date began with swinging by his pasture only to see that the cows were out. They worked together to get them back in. After that, I guess she was okay with a lifetime of "the cows are out" calls.

That same pasture is where Luke got down on one knee as a perfectly executed surprise!
