Our Wedding

Cameron and Kenzi first met at New Day Church in Bethany, OK, and attended Southern Nazarene University (SNU) together.The couple began hanging out and spending a lot of time together during the spring of 2023 and in a few months, Cameron asked Kenzi if she would like to go on a date. Their first date was on April 3rd, 2023 and they enjoyed dinner and a close game of mini golf (Cameron won by one point.) The two of them continued to spend a lot of time with one another and grew closer in their relationship with each other and Christ.On June 23rd, 2024, Kenzi thought she and her family were going to take family pictures out at her grandparent's ranch. But Cameron had a whole lot more planned for that beautiful evening. He found a way to keep this big secret away from Kenzi and had many people involved in planning and setting up. After Kenzi figured out the color scheme for family pictures, went outfit shopping, and helped decide what the whole family would wear, she and her family headed out to take pictures. Cameron and his family had already been there setting up the perfect spot for the big secret. Not knowing this, Kenzi was texting Cameron asking when he would arrive at the ranch for a few pictures. Upon arrival, Kenzi's mother told her to close her eyes and she was very confused but soon realized what might be happening. The car door opened and Cameron was right there. A few minutes later Cameron was down on one knee and asked the big question they both had been dreaming of. Kenzi of course said YES and they began to celebrate and plan their big day.The couple has shared a lot of memories but some of their favorites are their long car rides to Baton Rouge, leading worship at church together, 2024 spring break to Georgia and Branson, their one-year anniversary date to Cattleman's, and another round of mini golf (Cameron won by one point, again) and several late night conversations about their future together.&nbsp; We are so excited and can’t wait to celebrate with you as we say “I Do” at our wedding ceremony and reception in May of 2025!
