Our story is so special to us, and we believe the Lord has had his hand in it the whole time. We didnt grow up in the same area nor did we go to high school or college together. I (MaKenzie) am from Philadelphia, MS while Dalton is from Pearl, MS. Once Dalton graduated college, he took a job near Philadelphia, MS while I was finishing Physical Therapist Assistant school in Hattiesburg, MS. After I graduated, I began working in Hattiesburg for about 6 months before accepting a position at a local hospital in Philadelphia. We were first introduced to each other in the spring of 2022 through my co-worker who happens to be Daltons best friend. We got to know each other for a little while, but figured out it wasnt the right time for us. Fast forward to the summer of 2024, he and I reconnected and began to build a relationship again. There were so many answered prayers from that point on for me, and there was no doubt in my mind he was who I wanted to marry. Dalton proposed at the end of November 2024 in one of the most thoughtful ways, and it is a moment I wont forget. I truly cannot wait to see what life we will build together!
