Levi and Makenzie, for those who don't know, met working together at The Barber Shop Marketing. Not having a lot of clients in common, Levi first approached Makenzie after she had an allergy attack at work and offered her some allergy medication, and fresh honey from his ranch to help with her cough. An initial meeting turned into happy hour after work one day with co-workers at Lupe Tortilla, then Levi asked for Makenzie's number and began brining her chai teas and breakfast to work, every day. Their first date was at a restaurant called Bulla Gastrobar. This turned into closing down the restaurant, planning a second date to meet Aubrey, Levi's dog and ending with a bouquet of peonies and asking Makenzie to be his girlfriend, May 4th, 2023. They decided to keep their dating relationship quiet around the office and didn't confirm they were together until Levi joined a new company September 2024. Since meeting, Levi and Makenzie have recently moved in together with Aubrey and Kiwi in tow after getting engaged December 8, 2024. Their engagement began with Levi trying to do his best to trick Makenzie, and to anyone who knows her, is quite the job. But convincing her that they were doing an early dinner with Levi's boss and his wife on a Sunday afternoon, ending up proposing at the LOVE sign in Highland Park and dinner at Sister to celebrate. Paige and Makenzie met when they became next door neighbors when Makenzie was 5 and Paige was 7. They have been best friends for over 24 years and have seen each other's biggest moments including Makenzie being Paige's Maid of Honor in her wedding in 2018.

Haley and Makenzie met when they became Kappa Kappa Gamma big & little at Arizona State University in 2015. They became inseparable before Makenzie transferred to SMU but maintained a tight friendship even with Makenzie still being in Dallas.

Lauren was Makenzie's first friend when she moved to Dallas! They both were hostesses at Del Frisco's Grille during the summer and realized that they both were attending SMU, too. They remained close even with Lauren being one grade older than Makenzie.

Nicole and Makenzie met at SMU through their public relations classes and both served on the Panhellenic Advisory Board together in 2018 - 2019. Nicole moved to DC briefly after college but returned back to Dallas in 2021 where Makenzie and her picked up right where they left off.

Megan met Makenzie in 2017, however she was living in Oklahoma at the time so they saw each other at big events and gatherings, however Megan moved back to her hometown of Dallas in 2021 and they became quick friends always known to be trying new restaurants and exploring the city!

Jazzy and Makenzie are cousins! They have a bit of a unique story, both of their mom's are adopted and found each other in 2016, thus leading to Jazzy and Makenzie meeting each other shortly after and becoming officially family, and friends.

Ava is Will Leonard's (Levi's Best Man) daughter who turned 2 in September. She couldn't be cuter and Makenzie and Levi are so excited to have her be apart of their day.

Elliana is Paige Denzler's (Makenzie's MOH) daughter and she turned 2 in October. She is a spunky, sassy girl and we are so excited to have her in our wedding!

Will and Levi met when they were kids and Levi's mom was Will's teacher in Kindergarten. They've been friends for over 20 years and still remain close after all this time and still do holiday's with one another's families.

Matthew, or as he is usually referred to as Chewy, is Levi's golfing friend! They make it a point to hit balls on the range on Friday's while scheduling a golf tee time on Saturday's. Chewy likes to think he's the better golfer but the title is still up for grabs!

Kevin and Levi met in the 4th grade and have remained friends since, they even were roommates at one point. They have a similar love of all things Dallas Stars and make it a point to attend multiple games each season together.
