Madi is Makenzie’s younger sister and one of the most important people in her life. She’s been by Makenzie’s side for every major moment, so it’s only fitting that she stands beside her on her wedding day. With a heart as big as her smile, Madi brings love, support, and endless joy to everyone around her—especially her big sister.

Makenzie and Rebecca met while working at Chick-fil-A in their hometown of Paris, TX, and what started as a workplace friendship quickly blossomed into a lifelong bond. After high school, they both attended the University of North Texas in Denton, TX, and later shared apartments, making even more memories together. Rebecca is incredibly smart, kind, and the kind of person who makes every moment better.

Makenzie and Jennie met in college and instantly connected over their shared experience of being adopted from China. What began as a unique bond turned into a lasting friendship filled with laughter, shared meals, and countless adventures. Together, they love to cook, bake, binge-watch TV dramas, and explore Asian areas. Jennie is kind, fun-loving, and always ready for an adventure.

Paisley is not only Luke’s sister but also someone who’s been an incredible friend to Makenzie. They’ve shared laughs, hang outs, and workouts (well, sometimes just the idea of working out!), and Paisley has always been there to help and support.

Katy and Makenzie have a bond that goes beyond friendship. Being adopted from the same group in China makes her feel like a “Chinese sister” to Makenzie. While they don’t get to see each other often due to college life, every chance they get to catch up is filled with laughter and warmth.

Makenzie and Isabella’s friendship started in high school when they met in color guard, but it was their shared love of baking that truly brought them together. Their favorite hangouts were spent sitting on the kitchen floor, snacking on treats they made and chatting the night away. Isabella’s warmth and kindness have made her a friend for life, and together, they created a friendship that would last forever.
