I (Makenzie) was finishing up my time in Mexico and was looking for something new to do and decided to go to Kansas City to do a six month internship at IHOP ( The International House of Prayer). When my internship was over I decided to stay and do their Bible School and that's when I met Zach! I remember showing up to new student orientation and being put in the same group as him and thinking to myself that he was kinda cute and seemed very interesting and someone I was curious to know. I didn't really think we would interact much after that day because I was a semester ahead of him and I was a ministry student and he was a worship student but thankfully I was wrong. We got put on the same ministry team which meant I saw him everyday of the week except Sundays and Thursdays. As we continued ministering together and realized that our values, desires, goals, humor, and many other things were very similar we quickly became very close and best friends. After a little bit of being friends we both knew we liked each other and wanted to date so we spent some time praying about it and here we are now! Im so happy and thankful that the Lord brought both of us all the way from Mexico and Maine to a little prayer room in Kansas City to meet each other.
