Garden Wall Inn

This is the closest hotel to both the venue (about ~6 min drive) and the airport, however, it is in a more isolated location and would be a 10-20 min drive to the closest restaurants.

Glacier International Lodge

The North Forty Resort has 23 log cabins and a glamping tent spread across 40 acres of forest.&nbsp;The cabins can host anywhere from 5-8 guests and some also have full kitchens. They also have a "glamping" tent that can sleep up to 4 people.About a 13 min drive from the venue and a 10 min drive to Whitefish or Columbia Falls

Glacier Park International Airport (FCA) located in Kalispell is only a ~10 min drive from the wedding venue and also offers easy access to Kalispell, Whitefish, Columbia Falls, and Glacier National Park.

Things to Do

<a href="https://www.nps.gov/glac/planyourvisit/vehicle-reservations.htm" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">ENTRY PASS REQUIRED</a> - Please note that June 13 through September 28 timed entry vehicle reservations are required to enter at the west entrance and access Going-to-the-Sun Road and North Fork from 7 am to 3 pm. The west entrance of Glacier National Park is a ~40 min drive from the wedding venue, it is an ideal spot to enter the park if you would like to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road, see Lake McDonald, and is close to many hikes including Avalanche Lake. A portion of vehicle reservations will be available 120 days or approximately four months in advance, starting on February 12, 2025, at 8 am MST on a daily rolling basis. Next Day vehicle reservations will be available at 7 pm MDT for next-day entry starting on June 12, 2025 on a daily rolling basis.

Central Ave. in downtown Whitefish is home to many shops, restaurants, galleries, and bars!Some of our favorite spots (please see the restaurants tab for more) include:- The Toggery (Men and Women's clothing, shoes, etc.)-Montana Coffee Traders (coffeehouse and cafe)- Sage and Cedar (skin, hair and bath care products)-Cabin Creek Antiques (furniture and decor)-Bookworks of Whitefish (independent bookstore)-Fleur Bake Shop (French style bakery and coffeeshop)-Stumptown Art Studio (non-profit community art center that offers walk in activities including pottery painting and glass fusing) Please reach out if you would like additional suggestions!

Explore Downtown Whitefish

There are also many hiking options outside of Glacier National Park, some are listed below: -Glacier View Mountain: very steep and challenging hike with a rewarding view at the top, (4.2 miles out and back, ~ 50 min drive from the venue including a gravel road)-Danny On Memorial Trail: located on Big Mountain which is also home to Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area. You have the option to take the chairlift up and down or hike 8 miles out and back. (~40 min drive from the venue or ~15 min drive from downtown Whitefish) There is also the Whitefish Trail system which has 47 miles of natural surface trails and 15 trailheads (see below link for more info) which are all located close to Whitefish and are good short hikes. We especially recommend checking out Lion Mountain and Beaver Lakes!
