Our story starts about 6 years ago when Daniel and I first met. I remember coming home from work one day and getting a text from my parents that a work friend would be over to help finish parts of the house. Thinking of all the work friends of my parents that I have met in the past, I thought no big deal- someone the same age as them that I won’t talk to probably ever again… Oh god was I in fact, WRONG. There I was walking into my house: hair a mess, clothes dirty, RBF in full swing, and the most handsome guy I have ever seen was standing in my kitchen… I remember choking on my words just trying to say hello back. I never believed in love at first sight until meeting Daniel.
Over the next year Daniel and I quickly became good friends, so much that I never thought he had feelings for me and I wouldn’t dare tell him I thought he was cute. Over time him and I both had lots of things going on so we lost contact for about a year until one day I got a text from him telling me that my dog was cute and very sweet. I kept thinking to myself “How the hell does he know that? He has never met Coach!” 20 minutes later he sent me a picture of him walking my dog down the road. There I was again coming home from work and this handsome man was seeing me in all my not so glory. I guess the hot mess look is what hooked him in haha.
One thing led to another and Daniel and I started dating soon after we went to one of “our places” to get pictures of DaiZy, the Nissan 370z. And here we are now, 3 years later planning the rest of our lives together. I cannot thank Daniel enough for being my biggest supporter in life and accepting me in every way. He has been the most understanding person when it comes to my medical conditions and never takes those hard days out on me. I fell hard for Daniel and I have learned over time that is something that will never change as he makes me fall harder for him everyday.
