Our Wedding

Ben &amp; Malana met each other while Malana was in her Senior year of college. The two worked together at Family Video while starting their friendship. Eventually, Malana had to move two hours away due to her career. It was then the two knew that they were meant to be. They began dating, making long distance trips to see each other on the weekends. Eventually, with a few changes, the two now reside in Kenton, Ohio.

How We Met

In July 2016, Malana &amp; Ben took a summer vacation to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They spent the week shopping, hiking, kayaking, playing 4 games of putt-putt to declare a true winner, zip-lining, and enjoying each others' company. One night at the cabin they were staying in at the top of the mountains, the two were sitting on the porch looking at the stars above the mountains. Ben got down on one knee and asked Malana to marry him!

The Proposal

Malana is currently working at Ridgemont Local Schools as a First Grade teacher. Also at Ridgemont, she coaches Junior High Volleyball, as well as, JV and Varsity Track &amp; Field. Ben is currently working at the Honda Marysville dealership as a salesman. Together they have two cats (Sasha &amp; Simba) and one dog (Sophie).
