Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

The outdoor ceremony will take place at Bay Pointe Woods; the address is 5100 Oarie Dr., Shelbyville, MI 49344. The indoor reception will follow immediately after the ceremony, at the same venue (Bay Pointe Woods).

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive close to 4:00 PM, to allow for ample time to get settled in before the ceremony starts. We will not be able to accommodate latecomers into the ceremony after it has started, so please plan your travels accordingly.

What should I wear?

We are requesting Cocktail Attire. We suggest men wear a suit or dress shirt with a tie, and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress, a dressy jumpsuit, or dressy separates. We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, etc. Please note, the ceremony will be outdoors (and reception indoors), so please be sure to dress accordingly!

Phone/Photo Etiquette

Our ceremony will be "unplugged," so we do kindly request that phones are silenced and put away, and that photo taking during the ceremony is avoided. However, photo taking during cocktail hour and the reception is highly encouraged! Be sure to share any photos you snap with us! :)

Is there parking available at the venue?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking right at the venue! If the need to leave your car overnight arises, we do suggest moving your car across the street to the hotel (Bay Pointe Inn) parking lot.

Will transportation be provided to and from the hotels/venue?

Unfortunately, due to timing and logistical obstacles, transportation will not be provided to and from the hotels/venue. Please plan your travels accordingly, and be safe!

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than September 19th, 2025.

May I bring a guest/plus-one?

Due to space limitations, we are not able to accommodate additional guests beyond those named on the wedding invitation.

May we bring our children?

While we love your kiddos dearly, we are not able to accommodate children. We request that they sit this one out, and ask that you join us for an adults only ceremony and reception!
