It all began in the summer right after high school, in July of 2022. Mallorie and Bailey met through their friends, Abby and Garrett. Abby had invited Mallorie to hang out with Garrett and his friends at the beach. To Mallorie’s surprise, Bailey was the only one who showed up, turning it into an accidental double date. Despite the unexpected turn, they hit it off immediately.

A few days later, the Fourth of July arrived, and once again, Mallorie and Bailey found themselves invited to a party by Abby and Garrett. The entire night was filled with conversations about everything from Home Depot hotdogs and baseball to horses. They were both nervous, unsure of what was happening, but something about their connection felt right.

A few days later, Mallorie and Abby were at the beach, and coincidentally, Bailey was staying there too. They spent the day hanging out, and on July 12th, Bailey asked Mallorie out on a proper date. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

In August, Mallorie headed to FGCU for a semester while Bailey went to North Carolina for lineman school. The distance was hard, but somehow, Mallorie and Bailey made long distance work. They stayed connected through texts, calls, and visits. That September, while at the beach, Bailey told Mallorie he loved her — and in that moment, their bond deepened even further.

After her semester at FGCU, Mallorie came home, and shortly after, Bailey had to live part-time in Georgia for work. Their relationship went back to long distance, and while the miles between them were tough, they found new ways to keep their connection strong. The distance only made them realize even more how much they meant to each other.

Over the next year, they filled their time together with beach dates, movie nights, dinners at Texas Roadhouse, concerts, and endless laughter. Even though their time together was limited, every second was special. The time apart gave them the chance to grow individually, but also made them realize that they never wanted to be without each other.

Then came November 29th, 2024. Mallorie and Bailey were in Georgia for Thanksgiving, and on that day, Bailey asked Mallorie to marry him — and of course, she said yes (DUH).

And now, here we are, planning our wedding! We are beyond excited to celebrate our love with everyone who has been a part of our journey. Thank you for supporting us and being a part of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate this new chapter in our lives with all of you!
