We met through mutual friends in the Summer of 2012. Kyle’s baseball team was making their way to the Senior League World Series. All their games had Live streaming. During the games, Mallory had volleyball practice and while on breaks, Mallory and her teammates would quick log on and watch for a few quick minutes. Once it became known that Mallory had her eyes on Kyle, they exchanged cell number. They quickly bonded over baseball (Mallory playing softball) and hockey.

On January 21, 2013 Kyle had asked Mallory to be his girlfriend and dated for about 2.5 years. Once they started College, they ended up going separate ways and started new journeys.

Fast-forward a few years, Kyle and Mallory started running into each other at the bars while they were with their friends. Kyle kept trying to make an effort to try to speak with Mallory and she kept avoiding him. When he did get chances to talk, he asked to take Mallory out for coffee the next morning. Mallory was very confident that it was never going to happen. Coffee never happened but Mallory finally gave in and started talking to Kyle.

On July 21, 2019 Kyle had asked Mallory to be his girlfriend again while she was visiting him in Chicago, (where he had worked) for the weekend. Kyle and Mallory took on being in a “long distance relationship” for 2.5 years. Luckily, Mallory can work remote and was able stay with Kyle for longer periods of time with their dog, B’nellie.
