If you’re in town for a little while and looking for a sweet treat, Tom’s is the place to go! It is the only place in Zanesville that makes ice cream on a daily basis.

In 2017, Tom’s was featured on the Food Network television show Ice Cream Nation. Many celebrities and politicians have visited Tom’s, including John Glenn, Mitt Romney, John Kasich, Troy Balderson, and Mark Dantonio.

If you’re looking for a quick, but unique thing to do, the Y-Bridge is just the thing for you! The Y-Bridge, shaped like an actual “Y”, is located in downtown Zanesville. While there isn’t much to do other than drive across it, you can still say you’ve driven across the only Y-shaped bridge in the United States! Just plug those coordinates into your phone or search “the Y-Bridge” to get to the specific location, as there is no physical address for the bridge.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not featured Zanesville’s Y Bridge as “the only bridge in the world which you can cross and still be on the same side of the river.” Amelia Earhart called Zanesville “the most recognizable city in the country” because of the Y Bridge.
