Our Wedding

Mallory here….. I’ll try to sum up how Elijah and I met in a short lil story. But it’s very hard! And I have to save the mushy stuff for the vows - so I’ll be quick.   It’s a normal Sunday morning at Prestoncrest Church of Christ.. circa summer of 2022. I have just sat down when I see a boy walk in! I immediately recognize him from Harding University. I was on the class welcoming committee at church.. so of course I must go introduce myself.. it is my duty. We strike up conversation and in true Elijah fashion, the jokes and sarcasm start rolling. He made me feel like we had been best friends since we were kids. Not long after, he asked me to dinner. The way this man pursued me was unlike any other. I have never felt more special or loved in my life. He was kind, funny, caring, gentle and the most handsome man I had ever seen. He lit up a room when he walked in and could make anyone laugh. We learned so much together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I truly did not know this love could exist, let alone exist for me. The story of Elijah will always be my favorite story to tell. There is much more to our story that I could add.. but we would be here all day.  Thank you for being here and thank you for being a part of our special day. It means the world to us. See you June 15th!

Frisco is about an hour and a half from the Denver airport. It is surrounded by several other mountain towns, including Breckenridge, Keystone and Silverthorne. The most common ways to navigate to these mountains towns from the airport are by a rental car or a shuttle! After doing some research, some of the top rated shuttle companies include Peak 1 Express, Summit Express, and Epic Mountain Express. Summit County (the county where we will be located in) has an extensive amount of Uber and Lyft drivers through their respective apps, so do not fret about the ability to get around if you do decide to go the shuttle route.
