While the event is more casual than a traditional wedding there is an itinerary on the invitation and on the home page. The important thing is showing up at 5pm on July 13th prepared to have a good time and eat!

Yes! The evening will start with a cocktail hour and appetizers. Followed by a sit down dinner.

We are having the menu catered by Sammy's BBQ which will entail: Appetizers: Crab Cheese Puffs and Coconut Shrimp Mains: Huli Huli Chicken and Kalua Pork Sides: Potato Salad, Green Salad, and Fresh Fruit

Please let us know through the RSVP! The caterer can easily accommodate dietary restrictions so long as they are given an appropriate amount of time before the event.

Yes, there will be an open bar with cash tipping for the bartenders.

The closest airport is the Arcata-Eureka Airport that offers a few flights a day connecting to Denver, Los Angeles, Burbank and San Francisco. Otherwise the options are: Medford International Airport (4hr drive), Redding Regional Airport (3hr drive), Sacramento International Airport (5hr drive) and San Francisco International Airport (5 hr drive).

We recommend the Red Lion Inn for convenience. It's centrally located near downtown Eureka. If you are looking at other locations we recommend staying anywhere in Eureka or Arcata. Both cities are fairly small and any hotel or rental will be within a 25 minute drive of the venue.

The venue is just outside of Eureka, CA. However, it is no more than a 25 minute drive from anyplace in Eureka or Arcata.

The venue is primarily outdoors but has limited indoor seating in case of inclement weather. The venue does have full amenities. If you get cold easily, it is best to bring an extra layer for later in the evening.

The average weather for July is a high of 63 and a low of 52. The usual advice for Eureka is always expect the weather to be 10 degrees above or below 65.
