I first met Michael at an event hosted by his friend Will. I remembered meeting him and we chatted in passing, but I didnt think much of the exchange until a couple weeks later when Will told me the iconic line of “Remember Michael? Yeah you should give that dude a chance.” Coincidentally, Michael added me on Snapchat that same day and we talked for hours about the most random things. For a few months, Michael became my confidant and the person I went to for advice about my boy problems. He was also so patient and so brutally honest with me. Yes, this is proof that the friendzone does not have to be permanent. As the naive person I am, I didnt catch on to any of the hints until he invited me out with some of his friends on November 18th, 2022. That night, there was no one else in the world but the two of us. I dont remember conversations I had with other people or what time we ended up leaving, but Ill always remember how we made each other laugh and how cute I thought his goofy grin was in the selfies we took together. From this point on, he became my one and only. I cant wait to love that goofy grin every single day for the rest of my life.
