In 2023, I attended the Teach Them Diligently convention as a beginner photographer, while Isaac was the videographer for the event’s social promotions. Before it started, I posted on Instagram about renting a cabin for the week, and TTD reposted my story. Isaac saw it, followed me, and after the convention, he commented on my post. I didn’t recognize him and ended up ghosting him (to my defense, I didn’t know who he was!).

Fast forward to August, we started chatting about concerts since we had both attended one on the same night. We became friends quickly and began texting regularly on Snapchat. Our first FaceTime call was in November, and soon we were calling each other often. In January, Isaac visited for a day and met my family. I was super nervous, but we had a great time. Afterward, both our families met for a weekend trip, and we realized we enjoyed being together even more than we thought.

We were long-distance friends for six months before meeting in person. In February, Isaac came for a month-long visit, where we spent more time together, got to know each other better, and he met more of my family. On February 14, 2024, we officially started dating.

As the months passed and Isaac and I grew closer, I knew he was the one I wanted to marry—and he felt the same. After a little over a year of dating, on April 27, 2025, he asked me to be his wife, and I couldn’t have said yes fast enough. God has been so good to us, and we’re incredibly thankful to spend our lives together serving Him.
