1. What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.
2. What will the weather be like this time of year?
Typical British weather - UNPREDICTABLE. Please prepare for rain or even a slightly warmer day. Temperature during this time can be within the range of 16° / 8°
3. Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
Both will be in the Port Lympne hotel. The Pergola will be used for the ceremony and the Orangery for the wedding breakfast and evening events.
4. Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony might take place in a semi outdoor area if the weather permits - The Pergola. If not there is a indoor wedding event space located in the hotel Mansion.
5. What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, pictures will be taken nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the Orangery where we will be serving canapes and drinks. This is also a great time to walk around the conservation to see some of the amazing animals nearby. Please be aware that the wedding breakfast starts at 2:00pm sharp so dont wander too far.
6. Does your wedding have a theme?
The wedding is inspired by the colours of spring, our favourite sunflower and yellow daffodils that sprung out around this time of the year.
7. Are there other wedding events I can attend?
No
8. What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
9. How do I get to the venue?
Transportation will be provided. If not a more detailed travel route can be found in the TRAVEL section of the website.
10. What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony 10:30am, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.
11. Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is provided via the hotel and it is free for guest of the wedding.
12. Are kids welcome?
Yes Kids are welcomed
13. Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
14. Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Yes we do. Please check the rates via the hotel website and let us know in advanced. Please also check the travel section, where a list of recommended hotels are provided. If not there are various AirBnb around the the area as an alternative.

15. When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
The deadline is the 1st of February 2024. Yes you can do it online.
16. Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Yes
17. Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Yes an assortment of canapés will be provided, followed by the wedding breakfast meal and evening meals.
18. Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Please feel free to respond to the RSVP if there are any dietary requirements.
19. Where are you registered?
At the wedding venue - Port Lympne hotel
20. Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Yes, please reply to the RSVP to notify us if needed.
21. Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels. Please feel free to tag us :)
