Mandi and Marco first met when Marco moved to Milwaukee from Florida in 2017. Mandi was working with Marco's older brother Fabio, and Fabio introduced them almost immediately after Marco moved in with him. In fact, Mandi was one of the first people in Milwaukee that Marco met. There were countless family dinners and tons of laughs, and although this is where their story begins it took a few years until they really saw each other for who they are. Let's fast forward a few years and pick back up where things got interesting.

During the craziness that was 2020, Mandi and Marco found themselves texting almost daily. The isolation of the pandemic and the cute pictures of Mandi's new puppy, Betty White, were what initially fueled them becoming so close. Eventually Marco mustered up the courage to invite himself over to Mandi's condo to make homemade pizza and to meet Betty. She thought this meant he'd come with his roommates at the time, Fabio and his now wife Taylor. When she asked about them coming Marco said that it would actually just be the two of them (Marco never asked his roommates to come, in fact he made sure to let them know he wasn't inviting them and would be going alone). They made dinner and made it halfway through a movie when Mandi had the realization that this felt a little bit like a date. She paused the movie to ask and Marco responded "well I'd like this to be a date if you're okay with that." After thinking for a bit Mandi decided, "yeah I'm okay with that."

From there the rest is history. Mandi and Marco steadily became more serious and found themselves building a life together. Now the two of them live in their condo in Bayview with Betty White and have become a tightknit family as well as partners for life. Years later they still find themselves falling more and more in love everyday.
