Bill and Andrew met at Miami University and bonded over studying, Victorian literature, and bird watching. We were both well on our way to becoming fine, educated gentlemen when an unexpected Bud Light commercial derailed us from our illustrious collegiate career paths. 4+ years later we both (somehow) graduated. Although our friendship has undoubtedly lowered our life expectancy at least 10 years, it was totes worth it. Bill lives in Denver with his awesome wife Liz and his appropriately-named dog "Resor."

Chelsea and Mandy met at Michigan State University where they were roommates for two years. They quickly bonded over Michigan State sports, reality TV, and love for a cold beverage (or 4). As a wedding planner herself, Chelsea is keeping Mandy on top of wedding planning and making sure this day is absolutely purrfect! Chelsea currently lives in Kaleva, MI with her husband and their beautiful baby girl, Cora.

Craig and Andrew are only friends because their last names both start with the letter "V" and they had lockers close to each other in high school. They actually met earlier in junior high when Craig was enthralled by Andrew's ability to never wash his football practice jersey. Most of Andrew's high school was spent in the Virosts' basement; watching TV, playing video games, and utilizing Craig's always stocked fridge.

Claire and Mandy were in the same kindergarten class (but likely never spoke to each other). It wasn't until freshman year of high school when their skills on the basketball court slam dunked into a lifelong friendship. Claire was Mandy's personal cornrower, plan maker, and the one to ensure Mandy would always get home in time for her ridiculously early curfew. Claire went on to Grand Valley State University and currently lives in Traverse City with her husband.

Megan is Andrew's younger sister. They share a special bond for having grown up in the "unique" VanVelzel household(s). Andrew was always jealous of Megan's popularity and her ability to eat entire portions of fettuccine alfredo. Deep down they love each other, unless of course they are both eating at a restaurant called "Fortune House" in which case they are immediately forced to argue and make a scene. Megan graduated from Arizona State University and currently lives in Chicago.

Brandon met Mandy shortly after she was born on that dark and depressing day in July. He claims she took all the attention away from him - something that he holds over her head to this very day. Mandy spent her childhood loving everything that he loved - Michael Jordan & the Bulls, basement hockey, and driving their parents crazy during car rides. Brandon currently roams around the country chasing hail and spending way too much time on the phone.

Marty hails from the Pacific Northwest; a fact that he makes known within the first 10 seconds of conversation. Marty has been involved in many adventures with both Andrew and Mandy down in Houston, Texas. He can often be spotted wearing a t-shirt of his favorite past times; craft breweries, cross-fit, and obscure bands with strange logos. In July 2016, he suddenly vanished to parts unknown. Much like his hometown brethren, the Yeti, we would appreciate any information and/or blurry pictures of his whereabouts.

Melissa and Mandy met while working together in Houston. As two non-Texans in the office, they instantly were drawn to each other and just happened to love the same two things that make up their life these days: drinking and college football. Melissa went to the University of Arkansas and will never hesitate to "woo pig sooie" whenever she deems appropriate.

Joe and Andrew are friends from high school. He lived down the street from Andrew in Perrysburg, Ohio (and still does). Joe is an accountant, he is of shorter stature, and is often mistaken by others as being in a bad mood. Essentially he is the male version of Mandy. When asked whether it is weird that Andrew is marrying a female counterpart of Joe he responded with, "nope, not at all."Seriously, it's not.

Josh and Andrew go way back to preschool and neither have really matured much since then. Josh played football with Andrew and they have remained close friends ever since. Andrew, Josh, Joe, Craig, and Brian Monroe were pretty much inseparable in high school and college. Also, Josh once bench pressed 7,546 lbs and sacked Ben Roethlisberger (or so he says).

Usher the R&B singer will unfortunately not be attending our wedding. "U Got it Bad" was a dope song though.
