Mandy + Duncan lived 3 rooms apart in the freshman dorms at Boise State. Mandy would pass Duncan every morning returning from practice as Duncan headed to class, waving to each other. These simple greetings all changed when Mandy discovered Duncan had homemade dessert in his room! While Duncan was away, she stole some butter cake, but was caught red handed! Butter cake led to Christmas room decorating, movie watching, Christmas tree lightings, and our first date.

Duncan asked Mandy to be his girlfriend on January 13th, 2016 in Julia Davis Park. Throughout the 4 years in college Mandy and Duncan went to countless college events - sports, Younglife, dance marathon, gatherings - you name it they did it all! Boise offered a fabulous place for Mandy + Duncan to adventure throughout the foothills, City of Trees, and into the mountains. Our favorite thing about Downtown Boise is the food! We have only repeated ONE dinner place (as a date) in 6 years.

Post college, Mandy + Duncan became next door neighbors. This made it pretty convenient to add a fur friend to our family. Smokey Bear Robertson is the greatest companion that adventures with us on road trips, camping trips, river swimming, and hikes. He is pretty stoked his humans are getting married!

Duncan POPPED the question in the same park that he asked Mandy to be his girlfriend, nearly 6 years later, surrounded by family and friends! Mandy + Duncan have loved the Boise Depot since day one, visiting it frequently throughout the years, and cannot wait to celebrate their beautiful marriage there with you!
