Mandy and JC's love story began back in 2009, while sharing their high school years crossing paths, at Buena High School in Ventura, California. Mandy and JC's connection furthered outside of school, when Mandy's mom, Buffy, started sharing a work space with JC's mom, Hazel, and sister, Jen. Buffy and Hazel liked to tease Mandy and JC about dating one another; in typical teenaged fashion, eyes were rolled, and nothing more than a friendship remained.

After years of continuing to cross paths, developing a friendship, and maturing as individuals; Mandy and JC's love story started to blossom in their mid-twenties. They shared their first date in April of 2020; enjoying takeout sushi and a movie in. Dating during a global pandemic had its own set of challenges; but Mandy and JC's love continued to bloom.

They took their relationship to the next level when moving in together, November of 2020. Mandy moved into JC's downtown Ventura apartment, where they shared a year of navigating through life and growing deeper in love together. Their journey eventually lead them to an opportunity to relocate to St.Charles, Missouri.

After many prayers, conversations and careful planning; Mandy and JC took the leap of faith to move to Missouri in January of 2022. They packed up Mandy's Honda Accord and made the 6 states, 5 day roadtrip from California to Missouri. JC continued his career with the American Automobile Association, while Mandy started coaching at Orangetheory Fitness. It wasn't long before Mandy and JC grew their family, adopting their Golden-doodle, Rusty, in May of 2022.

JC proposed on the 7th of December, 2023 at their favorite park with Rusty by their side. Mandy and JC eloped at the St.Louis County Courthouse on Wednesday the 14th of August, 2024. They shared an intimate civil ceremony, followed by a weekend celebrating with friends.

Mandy and JC continue to thrive while building up their lives and careers in St.Charles. JC is currently a Project Director with Blusky Restoration, while Mandy continues her coaching career with Orangetheory. They were able to give Rusty a backyard, when purchasing their first home in November of 2024, and have celebrated five years together, as of April 2025.

These past five years have been filled with many celebration-worthy milestones, and IT'S FINALLY TIME TO CELEBRATE!

Mandy and JC look forward to celebrating their lifelong commitment with their loved-one's this upcoming August. They would be honored to have you join them for a ceremony at the historic Father Serra Cross, with pizza, beer and dancing to follow, at Topa Topa Brewery HQ.
