As much as Blake and Mandy enjoyed going on hikes and being outdoors, Blake always knew he wanted to propose to Mandy somewhere outside with God's beautiful creation as the backdrop. He would continually jot down ideas over the two years of dating, but didn't have anything set in stone.

It wasn't until Mandy booked a flight to see her sister in Africa, that Blake ultimately got the idea to propose at Victoria Falls. Blake began coordinating with Mandy's sister in Africa to pull this all together and surprise her in Africa.

Feb 24, 2024 - The perfect diamond and ring was picked out.

April 4, 2024 - The final ring design was set.

April 14, 2024 - Blake books his plane ticket to Africa

April 26, 2024 - Blake picks up the ring and heads to the airport to begin the journey to Africa.

April 29, 2024 - Blake and Mandy are engaged at Victoria Falls.
