Our Story

...

We met on a dating app in December of 2022. We spent our first date on Haight-Ashbury in San Francisco, a city that now means so much to both of us.

Since then, our lives have woven together through shared laughter, happy memories, and the joy of raising our little family-two dogs, Marceline and Ducky, and our cat, Jellybean.

We are overjoyed for our future together, and we are deeply grateful for the love we have found in each other. We are so honored to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us.

What is the dress code?

In the spirit of a timeless celebration, we kindly ask all of our guests to wear formal attire in all-black. Formal attire typically includes tuxedos, black suits, floor length gowns, or cocktail dresses. We can't wait to celebrate with you in style!

What time should i arrive?

Our ceremony will begin punctually at 4 o'clock in the evening. While we reccomend showing up an hour to 30 minutes early, please arrive no later than 3:50pm, or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Can i bring a date?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding reception an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girl. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will take place indoors. While we cannot predict the weather, the average outdoor conditions are a high of 57 degrees during the day, and a low of 38 degrees at night.

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say, "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us, and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

when is the rsvp deadline?

Please RSVP no later than December 19th!

What are the hotel accomodations + nearest airports?

While you are welcome to stay wherever you choose, our wedding is located just outside of Auburn, CA. Our hotel recommendation is listed below, and we will have a shuttle service to transport our guests to and from the wedding. Ubers and ride sharing services are limited here, so if you are travelling from out of state or are not bringing a vehicle, we recommend staying at this location or making accommodations to get to it. Sacramento airport is the closest to our venue, but Oakland is also an option.

will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you! We will have a well bar, meaning payment is only required for specific types of alcohol. If you are not taking a shuttle back to the hotels, please arrange transportation from the venue if you plan on drinking!

This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a terrace. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can use the business center or relax in the snack bar. Empire Ranch Golf Course is 24 miles from the hotel. Sacramento International Airport is 37 miles away.
