In the morning, get picked up from your hotel and journey west into the wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. Spend a whole day exploring one of America's most scenic national parks. Stop by Denver's Winter Park Ski Resort, Grand Lake, Estes Park, and the university town of Boulder along the way.

This 225-mile (362 km) tour features the best of Colorado. Wind your way through the tunnels of Clear Creek Canyon, into the Arapaho National Forest, and over Berthoud Pass at 11,314 feet above sea level. From there, descend into Winter Park and beautiful Grand Lake, the world's highest yacht basin. A lunch stop allows you to relax and enjoy the phenomenal scenery.

After lunch, take an awe-inspiring drive into Rocky Mountain National Park along Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous automobile route in the US. At the 12,183-foot summit you can gaze across the tops of many mountains, including massive Long's Peak. The return trip down the mountain goes through the village of Estes Park, by rugged North St. Vrain Canyon, and into Boulder—home of the University of Colorado.

As the sun sets, sit back and relax during the last leg of your drive into Denver. Now you can tell everyone that you crossed the Continental Divide not once, but twice.
