July 20, 1929 - January 17, 2010

Beloved husband of Connie (nee Dietrich) Walser for 58 years. Loving father of David (Marianne), Cathy Shulist (Francis), Debra McTavish (Murray), Reg (Jane), Julie Mullin (Peter). Grandfather to Daryl, Rhonda, Jennifer, Craig, Angela, Eric, Scott, Jim, Sara, Ruby, Neil, Sam, Laurie, and Mandy.


Harold, resided just a short distance from Waterloo in St. Clements. Harold found joy in bringing laughter to his grandchildren's lives. His playful antics, like the whimsical tissue trick or the endearing habit of walking into walls, never failed to get giggles from Mandy. Every summer, Mandy looked forward to their strawberry-picking adventures and backyard summer green bean garden. Harold's devotion extended beyond fun; he would eagerly join in games, even lying on the ground to play alongside his grandchildren. Family pride radiated from him as he attended every milestone event. Despite his passing on Mandy's 14th birthday in 2010, Mandy to find solace in spirituality. Harold's legacy lives on, a testament of love and the profound impact of his devotion on Mandy's life.




Everett Mullin

February 21, 1938 - June 27, 2017

Beloved husband of Diane (nee Myre) for 58 years. Loving father of Joanne Vibert, Peter (Julie), Wendy (Guy) Belanger. Proud Papa of Jessica, David, Laurie, Mandy, Angele and Richard.

Everett, lived in Sudbury during Mandy's childhood. After school, they connected over MSN using a webcam, creating memories together. Summers in Sudbury were highlights, filled with fishing trips and joyous holidays on Manitoulin Island. Their time together was not just about adventures but also laughter, as Mandy inherited Everett's witty humour and short stature. Despite the miles between them, the warmth of their relationship radiated through every interaction, leaving an indelible mark on Mandy's heart and shaping her into the person she is today.




John MacDonald

Unfortunately, John passed away when Jonas’s father Matthew was a teenager. Although Jonas never met him, John's essence lived on in the stories his father shared. Jonas found comfort in these tales, forging a bond with the grandfather he longed to know. Jonas looks forward to John’s presence on the wedding day, a silent observer of this milestone.

Beloved husband of Marianne (nee Herteis) Walser for 38 years. Loving father of Daryl (Dawn), Rhonda Weiler (Rich) and their grand daughter/Best friend Dakota Rose and Jennifer Walser (Jason Huber). Loving son of Connie and the late Harold Walser. Dear brother of Cathy Shulist (Fran), Debbie McTavish (Murray), Reg Walser (Jane) and Julie Mullin (Pete).

Mandy's uncle Dave was a radiant presence, always wearing a welcoming smile. Dave's devout faith radiated love to all, and as the godfather to her sister Laurie, he extended the same affection to Mandy. Though he passed before Mandy found love with Jonas, his spirit remains vivid. At their wedding, Dave's presence will be felt, his spirit will rejoice alongside them, blessing their union with eternal love.




Mark MacDonald

1959-2005

Beloved father of Vanessa and Megan. He was the son of Beverley Ann MacDonald and the late John MacDonald Sr. He will be missed dearly by his brothers John, David (Terrianne), Tim (Krista) and Matthew (Shannon), his in-laws, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.


Despite passing during Jonas's youth, Uncle Mark's influence persists through the cherished memories shared by his father, Matthew. Remembered as a devoted family man, Mark's absence is missed yet his spirit remains present. As Jonas and Mandy embark on their wedding day, they honor not only their love but also the enduring legacy of Uncle Mark, whose memory enriches the celebration with a sense of profound connection and warmth.

Abbass embodied kindness, his warmth radiating to all. He never missed a chance to greet Jonas and Mandy with genuine warmth, leaving them feeling cherished. In his presence, smiles and laughter flourished effortlessly. Though he's passed, memories of his kindness linger, a testament to the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to know him. Mandy and Jonas will be thinking about Abbass on their wedding day as they lift their cups to cheers in his memory.

Carrie's dedication to her daughter Louisa was a love like no other, earning her the reputation of the quintessential mother. Her vibrant personality illuminated every gathering and effortlessly gave affection to all who knew her. Jonas and Mandy cherished the moments spent listening to Carrie's captivating life stories, always feeling special in her presence. Carrie's infectious laughter and radiant smile left lasting marks on their hearts. As Mandy and Jonas anticipate their wedding day, they hold Carrie close in their thoughts, her memory cherished of love and joy that continues to inspire them.

From being the first guests to welcome baby Mandy home from the hospital to annual Easter egg decorating and Bellwood Lake camping trips, they embodied family unity. Despite their passings, Jonas had the privilege of meeting them, forging connections that will last a lifetime. Heather's love for knitting and crocheting sparked a bond with Mandy, while Willard's passion for fishing and knack for handiwork captivated Jonas. Their stories and warmth left lasting impressions, enriching the Mullin family with fond memories and enduring legacies. Heather and Willard’s presence will be felt on Mandy and Jonas’s wedding day as it was something they looked forward too before their passing.




Janette Croft

Predeceased by her husband Earl (May 18, 2008), Janette is survived by her children Barb (Rick) Pyne, Trevor (Erin) Croft, Brent Croft and Jerry (Tina) Nowe. Precious memories are left with her 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Loving sister to Barbara (Jim) Stanley, Michael (Nikki) Croft, Jerome Croft, and John Fancy.


Janette, fondly known as "Gram Gram," was not only the grandmother of Mandy's high school best friends Shea and Aleesha but also a beloved figure in Mandy's life. Her gentle soul, wittiness and spunky personality endeared her to all. Janette's wise advice and affectionate presence left lasting impressions, even on Jonas, who was fortunate to meet her before her passing. Though she'll be missed on their wedding day, her memory remains cherished in their hearts.
