Our Wedding

We met in Waco at the Dancing Bear Pub through our mutual friend Mike Morgan before Christmas break in 2012 while Mandy was in Air Traffic Control school at TSTC and Matt was in his MBA program at Baylor. We reconnected once we got back in January and went on our first date to a bowling alley. We were pretty much inseparable from here on out and felt as if we had known each other for years after only a few weeks. &lt;3 Mandy graduated and moved to Dallas, so we had a long-distance relationship for the next year and a half, seeing each other most weekends.On Halloween 2014, Matt was supposed to be in Waco for Baylor Homecoming weekend, but instead surprised Mandy by proposing at the doorstep of Nick &amp; Jenny Gerne's home in Dallas. He rang the doorbell and Mandy assumed it was a trick-or-treater (even though she suspected something was going on!) Matt graduated and we moved to Euless, TX and have been enjoying wedding planning and living in the same place! We're looking forward to celebrating with so many of our family and friends in October!

Mandy's best friend since meeting at the beginning of 3rd grade after we had both just moved to Chattanooga, TN. I've been on multiple family vacations with her and although we don't get to see each other as often as we'd like, anytime we do get to talk or get together, it's as if we see each other every day! Can't imagine celebrating this day without her! &lt;3 Chelsea lives in Denver, CO.

Jeff is Matt's youngest brother. Matt and Jeff play soccer together both in a league and online playing FIFA.

Nicole is one of my best friends since high school in San Antonio! She came to visit me in Rochester when I was living up there and we also traveled in Barcelona, Spain together when we both studying abroad in different places. She's known me through many stages in my life and now lives in Dallas! Very excited to have her as part of my bridal party! &lt;3

Tina has been a close friend of mine since meeting after we met in Houston in 2011! She is one of the sweetest people I know and we always make sure to stay in touch and meet up whenever we're in the same area. I am so excited that she is going to be part of my special day! Love this lady! &lt;3

Matt and Taylor have been in school together since middle school, but really became close friends after high school through epic late night Halo sessions.

Brad and Matt have known each other almost their entire lives, as they both grew up in the same church group. Brad was Matt's roommate all through undergrad at Baylor.

Marissa is one of my best friends and is one of my KD sisters as well. I was in her wedding party last year and am elated that she is able to be part of mine this year! I wish we lived closer as well and love anytime we are able to see each other!  Love her! &lt;3 Marissa lives in NYC.

Alicia and I met during a pre-frosh visit to the UofR the spring before college. We decided to become freshman roommates and joined the same sorority. She was a huge part of my college life and I loved having her a roomie senior year again! Love this lady and can't wait to have her celebrate with me! &lt;3 Alicia lives in Buffalo, NY.

Jenny and I have been friends since high school, since she and one of my best friend's, Nick, were dating (and now are married with a baby girl!). She and Nick live in Dallas and we have been able to become great friends over the last few years! We see each other frequently and I am so happy that she is going to be part of our wedding! She and Nick also helped Matt arrange his proposal at their house! &lt;3

Nick and Matt met only two years ago, but have quickly gotten close as Nick and Jenny have become our closest "couple" friends. We went on a cruise together in January.

Janna has been on of my best friends since joining Kappa Delta Sorority in college. Senior year we were roommates and I wish we lived closer to each other. We've had so much fun throughout the years and I love her dearly. She lives up in Rochester, MN currently and unable to attend the wedding in October! She'll be there in spirit and we'll be sure to Skype her in to the wedding day festivities! &lt;3

Please use Stoebe-Edmondson Wedding when booking the hotel. We have a deal for $75/night for either a King Suite with a sitting room or a 2-bed Queen Suite with a sitting area. This is only a few minutes from the wedding location and we will provide transportation to and from. We will be arranging a shuttle to and from the wedding venue at various times throughout the evening to avoid having to drive. :)
