So if you ask Rich, he would tell you we met through a friend of a friend… but in reality, we met on an online dating site!

We started dating a week later, and our only regret is that we hadn’t met sooner!

Rich is originally from Staples and recently completed his degree in Law Enforcement. I had moved to Wadena and started a new job as Physical Therapist Assistant the year prior. It’s kind of amazing that our paths had not crossed sooner than they did! Between our two families, there had been a lot of connections that we did not know about until after we met! Things like jobs with the same employer, nieces and nephews at the same daycare, being in the same wedding, and going on a fishing trip to Canada!

At the time we met, Rich and I were both looking at buying a house in Wadena. Eventually, Rich’s sister became a realtor for both of us showing us each houses we were interested in! It didn’t take long for her to realize that she probably only needed to find one house! Much to the disappointment of my landlords (who haven’t forgiven Rich yet), he bought a house and I moved in shortly thereafter!

We found that we have a lot of the same interests and have been making up for lost time ever since our first date. We like to camp, kayak, go to Twins and Vikings games, golf, hang out with family and friends, and more! We also both like labradors!

We are so happy to have finally found our special someone! We couldn’t be more excited! We are thankful to have you as part of Our Story! Now, onto the next chapter!
