Dress Code / Codigo de Vestimenta

Cocktail attire. Ladies, you're in Cartagena- We love flowing ruffles and vibrant colors. Kindly refrain from wearing white. Gentlemen should wear a suit, tie is optional. No shorts or flip flops please!

Para las damas: Traje de coctel. Nos encantan los colores vibrantes. Por favor, eviten vestir de blanco.

Para los caballeros: Usar traje, la corbata es opcional. ¡Ni pantalones cortos ni chanclas, por favor!

ARE KIDS INVITED? / ESTAN INVITADOS LOS NINOS?

Although we absolutely love your little ones, we ask that they do not attend the activities of the wedding day- only 16 years and older. They are more than welcome to attend any event planned before and after March 8th, 2025. We are planning on hiring someone to watch the kids on the wedding day so that you can enjoy. Please feel free to reach out to us about any questions.

Aunque amamos a sus pequeños, les pedimos que no asistan a las actividades del día de la boda, solo mayores de 16 años. Son más que bienvenidos a asistir a cualquier evento planificado antes y después del 8 de marzo de 2025.

Estamos planeando contratar a alguien para que cuide a los niños el día de la boda para que usted pueda disfrutar. No dude en comunicarse con nosotros si tiene alguna pregunta.

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE? / A QUE HORA DEBO LLEGAR?

Doors will close at 2:30pm. Please give yourself enough time to find a seat and get settled prior to the ceremony.

Las puertas cerraran a las 2:30PM en punto para la ceremonia. Por favor lleguen antes para estar sentados y listos para la ceremonia

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED? / SE PROPORCIONARÁ TRANSPORTE?

Yes! Transportation will be provided. More information on that to come.

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE? / PUEDO TRAER UN PLUS ONE?

Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If you receive a plus one on your formal invitation, they'll appear under your name when you RSVP

Debido al espacio limitado, solo podemos acomodar a los invitados que estén formalmente incluidos en su invitación. Si recibe un acompañante adicional en su invitación formal, aparecerá bajo su nombre al confirmar su asistencia en el "RSVP"

WHEN ARE RSVPS DUE?

We expect to send formal wedding invitations 3-4 months before the wedding, which will state when to RSVP by. With this being said, please contact Marco or Manuela to let them know if you do or do not plan on attending so that they can get a rough estimated head count.

Esperamos enviar invitaciones de boda formales 3-4 meses antes de la boda, que indicarán cuándo confirmar su asistencia. Por favor estén atentos.

IS CARTAGENA SAFE?

Yes! Cartagena is completely safe for travel. Like any international tourist destination, don't make yourself an easy target for pickpocketing. You should exercise common sense (do not walk on dimly lit streets alone at night, do not flash wads of cash or jewelry in public), but Cartagena is statistically safer than most places in the U.S.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER COLOMBIA?

Along with bringing your passport, please fill out your CheckMig online forms before boarding your flights to Colombia and when returning back to the U.S. Your airline will ask you for this.

Friendly reminder to check your passport expiration date! They do not allow you to travel with an expiration date within 6 months of that day of expiration.

STAY

WILL THERE BE A ROOM BLOCK?

Yes! We intend on working with some hotels around Cartagena to help accommodate our guests. We are still working on that so please keep checking in for updates.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Cartagena is hot year round. Expect the temperature to be high 80-90s during the day and 70s in the evening

HOW LONG SHOULD I STAY? / CUÁNTO TIEMPO DEBO QUEDARME?

This is totally up to you! We would love for you to explore and see how amazing Cartagena/Colombia truly is. Please know that we do plan on having a little get together with all guests who want/can attend on March 7th & 9th. More information to follow...
