Hello Friends and Family,
We have enjoyed envisioning our day and have been so excited to not only begin our lives together but to celebrate and have both of our families come together on our special day. We would like to address the recent developments and how they may affect our day so that you may plan accordingly. It has been especially difficult to finish our plans for the wedding and every day has brought new restrictions and potential roadblocks. While May is far away yet so close, our wedding date has not changed. We understand that there are many of you who are excited to come see us but may be unable to join because of the restrictions and the safety of your family to attend to. At this time, we are hoping things will get better by May and anyone, near or far, can join us. As restrictions to social events are changing weekly, the venue we booked may or may not be able to accommodate us. However, as of now, the venue is still holding the date for us and we are expecting an intimate wedding of less than 80 guests. Once the date gets closer, we will have a clearer picture so you can plan as well. One firm confirmation, we will get married on May 25th, 2020 even if we have to say “I do” at a social distance of 6 feet or more 😊. Thank you for your patience in embracing the unexpected with us. We look forward to seeing everyone. Stay safe and healthy.
With much love,
Mao & Eric
Hello Friends & Family,
Unfortunately, due to the extension of the shelter-in-place, we are saddened to say our wedding is canceled as planned. As much as we would like to celebrate with everyone our current situation would not allow us to. Our hearts are set on this date and we will proceed with a small ceremony. We hope to see you all soon so we can catch up and get to meet everyone. Thank you for your understanding. Stay safe and healthy.
With love,
Eric & Mao
