Formal attire! We recommend women opt for wedges or block heels as part of the event will take place on grass.

Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for parking and a short walk to the venue.

All wedding day events will be held outside. In case of inclement weather, we have a tent available for the reception. Additionally, there is a charming house at the wedding venue where guests can relax and enjoy the celebration. Restrooms are conveniently located inside the house for your comfort.

We have not booked hotel room blocks for guests. Please refer to the travel section on our wedding website for accommodation information.

The venue is inside Charles Towne Landing, located at 1500 Old Towne Road, Charleston, SC 29407. There is complimentary parking available at our venue. Upon entering Charles Towne Landing, follow the signs to Legare Waring House to reach the designated parking area.

If you need to leave a car overnight, it must be parked in the main visitor center parking lot and can then be picked up the next day during park hours. Any cars left at the Legare Waring House parking lot may be subject to towing, at the owner's expense.

Yes! Uber and Lyft can be used to drop you off and pick you up directly at Legare Waring House. There are two wedding venues at Charles Towne Landing so be sure to confirm with your driver that they are dropping you off and picking you up at Legare Waring House.
