We hope to celebrate with you all at our wedding in June in Toronto. However, we know that it will not be possible to have the wedding we would have hoped for prior to Coronavirus. Nonetheless, we hope we can celebrate with as many of you as possible in June or afterwards (at sheva brachos, a delayed gathering or visit to Zurich).
Currently, only Canadians (permanent residents or citizens) or their immediate family can enter the country. The borders are closed to all other non-Canadians.
For those who are Canadian, married to a Canadian or fall into the other exemptions, a negative PRC test is required within 72 hours of travel. In addition, you will have to test on arrival in the airport and stay in a hotel at your own expense until the test returns negative (up to 3 days). Then you will be allowed to go to your place of quarantine where you will be required to complete your 14-day quarantine including a test at day 10.
At present the entry requirements to Canada are absurd. We can't wait to see everyone for our simcha!
We will be updating the section monthly, as the situation is constantly changing and we are hoping and praying for things to be a little better come summer.
