It all started Freshman year at NDSU, Mara lived on the 4th floor in Sevrinson Hall while Jarod lived on the 5th floor. However, it wasn't for another three years until Jarod decided to message Mara....but it just so happened she was living in Australia at the time. Mara flew home a few months later and we went on our first date. We officially started dating in the Winter of 2018.

In June of 2020, we moved into out first home in South Fargo. Later that Fall, Mara demanded that if she was going to work from home....she needed a puppy to keep her company. So guess who got a puppy? WE DID! We brought our spoiled Golden Retriever, Berkley, home in November of 2020. He has filled us with so many laughs, walks, and snuggles the past 3 years.

Fast forward to December 14th, 2022 during a blizzard and one of the coldest nights in Fargo. Jarod finally proposed to Mara during a dreamy snowfall surrounded by the downtown Christmas tree and lights.

With that, the wedding is June 7, 2024 in Moorhead, MN.

We are so blessed and thankful to everybody that has been a part of this love story.
