The story started in May 2020, when a chance encounter on Hinge led Mara and Jake to their first date - a walk in Forest Park. This led to countless nights on the couch watching their favorite TV shows (mostly Jake trying to keep Mara awake), sushi dates, fuzzball games, and much more. In each other's company, they found joy and a sense of belonging. Three years flew by, filled with adventures big and small. Then, at the same spot as their first date in Forest Park, Jake got down on one knee and proposed. Forest Park would forever be etched in their memory as the place where their love story began. But the story isn't over - they recently purchased their first home and welcomed a Golden Retriever, Enzo, into their family. With each new chapter, their love story continues to grow.
