Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Everything is indoors and air conditioned! There is an outdoor patio area at Lilac Acres that can be used during the cocktail hour and reception if weather permits, but this is not air conditioned.
How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?
Unfortunately, due to everyone wanting to get there and leave at different times, we are unable to provide transportation. If you are flying, you can get an Uber to allow you to stay as late as you want. If you would like a cheaper option, you could try to find a friend or family member to carpool with.
Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
Yes!
Can I bring my kids?
We love your kids, but due to the size of the reception venue and monetary constraints, we have decided to have a child free wedding. Henry and Amelia will be there as they are the ring bearer and flower girl, but we kindly request that this be an otherwise child free wedding.
If you are unable to find childcare, we totally understand and we hope to be able to celebrate sometime with you in the future.
What type of food will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
The cocktail hour and dinner will be served by Mission BBQ. There will be pulled chicken, pulled pork, brisket, and all the sides and fixings.
I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?
Please email Marah at joshandmarahswedding@gmail.com and she will do her best to accommodate you. As someone with Celiac Disease, she knows how hard eating around dietary restrictions can be and she will do her best to help.
Will there be an open bar?
We are having a limited bar. We will have a selection of beer and wine available, but if you would like something else or when the selection runs out, a cash bar will be available.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?
We ask that you do not take any pictures during the ceremony. You may take pictures after the ceremony, but we would love for everyone to be present in the moment to celebrate the big day. We will have a photographer taking pictures which we will post on Facebook once we get them, so please just enjoy the ceremony with us.
