Q + A

What should I wear?

We made a page for that! Check out our next page titled dress code for some suggestions and a color scheme. We are hoping to have candid pictures that we can love for forever. With this in mind, cohesive attire will help to make the photos timeless and something we can admire for years to come!

Do I get a plus one?

Anyone who has planned a wedding knows the stress that comes with a guest list. The reality is, we had to make hard choices to ensure we were able to stay within budget and to respect the maximum capacity of our venue. With that in mind, the names written on your RSVP card is a firm number. We would love to be able to have everyone bring a friend to celebrate together but that is not the reality of weddings. We appreciate your understanding.

Will there be alcohol?

Staying on a budget is difficult! Making cuts where necessary is the best way to ensure money is spent where it should be. We have decided not to include alcohol in the celebration.

What time should the guest arrive?

Our five o'clock start time will be firm, we suggest arriving no later than four forty-five. With this in mind, we will be holding anyone who does not arrive by four fifty-five to the side of the ceremony until the precessional is finished. We want to ensure both the Bride, Groom and their families are about to enjoy the moment to its fullest and additionally want to ensure the photographer has free range to capture the moment. All guests that are held to the side will be seated after the precessional.

Will there be seconds on dinner?

The dinner will be buffet style in serving, but food will be purchased according to the response given in your RSVP. Therefore, there will not be seconds offered to any guests.

Will there be assigned seats?

There will be reserved seating for the bridal party and immediate family. If you are invited to sit at these tables, the bride or groom will ensure you are notified. If you have not been notified of this, then you’ll be sitting in the open seating. We will only have enough chairs for those who have RSVPed to the wedding, so please ensure you do so by the requested date.
