It started with a Hi.

What can we say? We were both living life as best as possible, dealing with the complications and chaos that life can unravel. And then the universe slowly nudged us towards one another. Closer and closer..


We began talking as friends. Our sons were hanging out and playing after classes at the karate studio. Our basis of conversation revolved around books, nerd fandoms, being parents in this current environment, and laughing at really awful cat memes.


Time brought us closer, and we soon found that love was definitely written in the stars for us.


So here we are, our little family blending and bonding, our love growing and strengthening, and we are over the moon with happiness.


Chris proposed to me in New York City. We were on a yacht that traveled along the Hudson River. I'd never been on a boat in the dark before, nor had I ever seen The Statue of Liberty. I was definitely wobbling and a little anxious on the boat. Chris brought me outside so we could see Lady Liberty. She was gorgeous. I was struggling to stabilize myself with the slight waves we rode over. Chris held me close and we looked into each others' eyes. He expressed how happy he's been, and I did as well. And he pulled out the ring and asked if I'd want to make it forever with him... Absolutely. Yes, I cried. It was perfect.


We love each other so deeply. We are so excited to be able to celebrate this with the people we love and care about.
