Our Wedding

Tyler &amp; Maranda met at the beginning of 2015 while doing theatre at their alma mater, Faith Christian Academy. Though they performed together for years, they didn't become friends until 2020, when they started hanging out one night in December. From the beginning of their friendship, family &amp; friends started to notice their connection went far beyond just friends. From the time they started hanging out, they became completely inseparable, &amp; there were very few days where you wouldn't see them hanging out after school. On January 31, 2021, Tyler asked Maranda to go as his date to prom, to which she immediately agreed, but she still thought this was completely platonic. February 4, Maranda had noticed that Tyler was acting particularly strange that day, &amp; after asking him multiple times if he was okay, he finally cracked &amp; said no. Maranda told him to meet her at Chick-Fil-A as soon as she was done work to talk. Tyler pulls up, gets out of his car, &amp; gets into Maranda's old Buick, &amp; greets her with "hey". The couple sits in silence for a few minutes before Maranda breaks the silence with "So, you wanted to talk about something?". Tyler takes a deep breath in before he tells her that he has very strong feelings for her. Of course, it wasn't that easy for Tyler because Maranda, moments later, friend-zones him because she said she wasn't ready for a relationship &amp; didn't know how they would manage a long distance relationship. After all, Tyler was leaving for the Marines in just a few months. Despite being friend-zoned, Tyler came over every day that weekend just to see Maranda &amp; bring her food while she was recovering from a cold. February 7 rapidly approaches, &amp; they officially became boyfriend &amp; girlfriend. Though Maranda was scared for him to leave for the marines, she knew that everything would work out no matter what. February 14, they took Maranda's little sister, Anna to midnight bowling at Earl's Bowling Alley. After returning to Maranda's house, the couple pulled an all-nighter &amp; watched&nbsp;Friends&nbsp;until 5am, in which they decided to go to Peace Valley Park to watch the sunrise (their official first date). Unfortunately, Tyler &amp; Maranda did not see a sunrise, &amp; this became a running joke in their relationship. In their 4 years of dating, they have never been able to catch a sunrise, even to this day. Maranda knew Tyler's mother since she worked as the secretary at their high school, &amp; knew his older sister, Sydney, since she also attended FCA. But she still had yet to meet his father &amp; brother. His family welcomed her with completely open arms &amp; treated her like a daughter from that point on. Tyler had already met Maranda's mom &amp; stepdad since they were heavily involved at their high school, but the day Tyler met Maranda's dad &amp; sister, Jacklyn, was a memorable one. Tyler &amp; Maranda just closed their last production of Peter Pan Jr. together, where Tyler played the title character of Peter Pan. Upon meeting her father, Tyler was wearing quite a bit of eyeliner &amp; tights, &amp; Jacklyn never lets him forget it. May 2 was the day Tyler met the rest of Maranda's family, including her two brothers, Cole &amp; Connor. Of course, everyone loved him from the second they met him, &amp; he was then invited to every family event from that point on. May 7, the couple went to prom &amp; left after spending an hour &amp; a half there since Maranda had to take her SAT's at 7am the next morning. Tyler somehow managed to match his tie identical to Maranda's dress, which she fondly reminsces about. The couple spent that entire summer together, but August was rapidly approaching &amp; Tyler would have to leave for the Marines. They went to the beach together several times, went to the carnival, &amp; went on a multitude of dates, soaking up every last second together before going long distance.Maranda receives a call on July 27 from Tyler while she is on vacation in the Poconos with Adri (Maranda's best friend &amp; maid of honor). He had found out that the day he was leaving had changed to August 1, instead of August 16. Tyler decides to make the trip to the mountains the next day to spend time with Maranda, since they were supposed to be in the mountains for a couple more days. When Maranda returned from vacation, the couple spent as much time together as they could, but August 1 was the saddest day for the two. Tyler leaves &amp; that begins the couple's journey of long distance. Maranda tirelessly wrote letters as soon as she received his address. The day she got her first letter from him, she practically jumped for joy. For 3 months, the couple had to write letters back &amp; forth to communicate, &amp; though it was difficult, they managed well. Maranda visited Tyler for his bootcamp graduation on October 28, 2021, &amp; the day they reunited was the happiest day for the two. They got to spend 10 days together before he had to leave for his next journey at Camp LeJune, North Carolina, then 29 Palms, California. 8 months, the couple spent apart until Maranda convinced him to go to Disneyland &amp; that is one of their happiest memories together to date. After many plane rides, late night calls, &amp; long distance dates, 4 years later, May 2025 approaches. Tyler has a flight scheduled to come back to Pennsylvania to celebrate Maranda's 21st birthday. The day after he flew into Philadelphia, Tyler brings Maranda to Peace Valley Park (where they had their first date) &amp; asks her to marry him. Though the couple has to spend their engagement long distance, they could not be happier to be each other's fiancé's &amp; later, husband &amp; wife!

Adri & Maranda became best friends during their school production of Annie: The Musical in 2019. Ever since then, they became a completely inseparable duo. From countless family vacations, rehearsals, concerts, late night talks about Jesus, karaoke nights, & many many facetime calls, Maranda & Adri's friendship remains strong. One of their most fond memories was Maranda's senior year when they got to play Belle & Mrs. Potts together in Beauty & the Beast. Adri has always been front row cheering loudly for Maranda no matter what, especially since Maranda left for college in 2023. They never thought they would have to do long distance since they agreed at the ripe ages of 13 & 15 years old that they were going to live in a studio apartment in New York City & perform on Broadway together. But alas, Adri blames Tyler for changing the plans. Adri was one of the first to know about Tyler & Maranda's relationship when they first started secretly dating, & has been in support since before they even began dating. Adri has been & is more than just a best friend, but a lifelong sister to Maranda. Maranda is overwhelmed with excitement that Adri is her maid of honor & cannot wait for all that is to come.

Maddi and Maranda have been best friends since kindergarten at Faith Christian Academy, where their friendship began over a shared love of playground races, and their mutual talent for outrunning all the boys. What started as childhood fun quickly grew into a rare and lasting bond that has spanned over sixteen years. Despite only having around ten photos together (a true mystery, given the memories they’ve made), their friendship runs deep. Through every stage of life, Maddi has been a constant, offering encouragement, laughter, long facetime calls, and unwavering support. Even though they don’t live nearby, they talk every single day, always cheering each other on through life’s highs and lows. Maddi’s loyalty, kindness, and steady friendship have made her one of the most important people in Maranda’s life. Having her as part of the wedding day is an honor and a full-circle moment that celebrates a friendship built on faith, love, and years of shared history. Maranda is so grateful to have Maddi standing by her side on such a special day.

Anna & Maranda's friendship began long before they became sisters. In 2012, they are introduced & became each others' best friends right off the bat. They spent their days playing with American Girl dolls, Barbies, & playing in the creek of Maranda's mother's backyard. They became sisters in 2015 when Maranda's mother married Anna's father. Since then, they have been next door neighbors (across the hall) & they have pulled many shenagians, while spending quite a bit of time driving their parents insane. They often relate their sister bond to Anna & Elsa in the film Frozen, & they bonded over that movie in their childhood. They loved making short films & music videos where Anna usually was the main character, & Maranda would try not to laugh from behind the camera. Anna plays a huge part in Maranda's life & Maranda could not be more thankful to celebrate her special day with Anna by her side.

Jacklyn is Maranda’s younger sister and the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. At 15, she already brings bold personality, quick wit, and a whole lot of heart wherever she goes. Whether she’s making everyone laugh or offering her unfiltered opinions (which Maranda secretly loves), Jacklyn keeps life fun. Their sister bond runs deep, and Maranda has loved watching Jacklyn grow into the strong & smart young woman she’s becoming. Maranda has cherished every moment- from ice cream dates, making forts out of their bunkbed, to spending time together at the gym. Having her as a Junior Bridesmaid means so much, not just because they’re sisters, but because Jacklyn is the definition of unwavering support for Maranda & Tyler. Maranda is beyond proud to have her little sister standing by her side on such a special day, and she knows this will be one of many unforgettable memories they share together.

Braelyn and Maranda’s friendship was a total wildcard that turned into something truly special. They met in 2023 as randomly assigned suitemates at Anderson University, starting off as just two girls sharing a suite and the occasional “hello.”
It wasn’t until November that they really started connecting over casual dinners that quickly turned into long talks, long walks (including getting lost and ending up two miles from their townhome), shared laughs, and spontaneous late-night sweet treat runs. Whether crying over tough critiques or laughing about something that happened six months ago, they always found comfort in each other & while they always seemed to be stuck in a crisis together, it somehow only brought them closer. They were always known for being stuck together during national emergencies, especially Hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024. After spending two weeks together during the hurricane, that was the defining moment in their friendship when they realized that they would always have each other's backs.
From RomCom marathons, wicked karaoke, pep talks, sitting in peaceful silence doing homework, they were each other's support through so many tough seasons of life. Their friendship wasn’t planned, but maybe that’s what made it so perfect. Maranda can’t wait to have Braelyn by her side on her special day.

Allie and Maranda’s friendship began during their very first semester at Anderson University, where they were both studying musical theatre. Although they shared a similar class schedule and often found themselves in the same rooms, it wasn’t until October of 2023 that their friendship truly began to take shape. From that moment on, their connection only blossomed.
Like any friendship, they faced their share of challenges, but rather than driving them apart, those experiences somehow brought them even closer together. Through the ups and downs, they developed a deep understanding and unwavering support for one another. Some of their fondest memories include frequent trips to Crumbl, where they created their infamous “Crumbl cookie reviews” on TikTok, sharing laughs that quickly became a highlight of their time together.
One of the most unforgettable chapters in their friendship was their amazing trip to Disney, an adventure that came with an extra bonus: a two-week-long sleepover after their spring semester ended. Whether they were cheering each other on in their MT classes, embarking on road trips blasting Ariana Grande and countless show tunes, or simply being there for each other through life’s twists and turns, their friendship blossomed into an extraordinary and unforgettable bond.
Maranda simply cannot imagine celebrating her wedding day without her "pwincess" by her side & she is beyond thankful to have a friend like Allie.

We are so excited to celebrate with all of you and kindly ask that guests join us in formal attire. For women, elegant midi or floor-length dresses are perfect. For men, a nice button-down shirt with slacks is appropriate, though a suit and tie is always welcome if you’d like to dress it up. While the dress code leans formal, feel free to incorporate soft colors or tasteful florals, especially for summer! We've included some outfit inspiration with images below to help guide you, so if you're wondering what to wear, we've got you covered. Of course, please refrain from wearing white at all.
