WELCOME TO NORTHERN MICHIGAN!

Aurora Cellars is located in Lake Leelanau, MI. The nearest airport to Lake Leelanau is Cherry Capital Airport (TVC), however it is often the most expensive option to fly into. Grand Rapids Airport (GRR) and Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) tend to have cheaper flights and are around a three to five hour drive away. Rideshares &amp; taxis are scarce so you will want a car to explore the peninsula and surrounding area!

Hotels & Home Rentals

Home rentals are far more common than hotels in this area. You can't go wrong anywhere in the peninsula but if you'd like to stay "in town" near a grocery store, restaurants &amp; shops, we recommend looking at Leland, Suttons Bay, Lake Leelanau, the village of Northport and Traverse City. We are not securing a hotel room block to allow all guests to stay wherever they'd prefer! Rentals &amp; hotels tend to book out far in advance. We recommend trying to book your stay as soon as possible. There are many options on booking.com that offer free cancellation!

Transportation

With guests staying throughout the peninsula, we will not have transportation provided. The Leelanau Peninsula is full of winding and dimly lit roads - please do not chance it and drink and drive, even if you're staying close to the venue.
