Marc met Rylee Freshmen year at Bethel University, the winter of 2018. They quickly became best friends, but alas, he had his heart set on another. Rylee, seductress that she was, convinced Marc to make this other woman a gift, but what should he make her? A piece of pottery. Who knew how to spin clay? Rylee Forshee.

And that is the story of how Rylee got Marc all to herself, for hours at a time, several days a week spinning clay, ala Patrick Swayze's "Ghost." But while Marc spun clay, Rylee spun Marc's hear, reshaping it into her own image. By the time Marc had completed the clay mug, he was no longer prepared to give his heart away with it, for under the heat of the kiln it had melted in Rylee's hands.

Marc and Rylee would go on to have many adventures throughout college, driving around the cities and the country. Hanging out with friends and spending time together. One of there favorite activities as playing Mario Kart Double Dash, which they eventually won a prom themed tournament in.

We will jump forward in time a couple years to May 18th 2022, Marc is heavily considering proposing. It is at this point that Rylee is rear ended in a severe car accident and ends up in the hospital. When she is released, Marc aids in her recovery at their new home. This is obviously a very stressful time for both of them, but Marc is strangely happy.

He realizes that because Rylee is homebound, he's seeing more of her than he has in 3 years, since Covid, since they lived in the same dorms. He realizes that even during the hardest of times, he is grateful to have her by his side. He appreciates that she is alive. And they both look back at this time together fondly.

So the arrangements are made. He gets tickets to Rylee's favorite city: New York. They go to Rylee's favorite spot in New York: Central Park, after living out a scene from Rylee's favorite book: by going on the Merry-go-round from Catcher in the Rye. Rylee and Marc's favorite media company, Exist Media, flies in the shoot. And to Marc's surprise, SHE SAYS YES!!!!

And this brings us to the current part of the story: as Marc and Rylee gear up to say their vows and commit to each other for the rest of their lives, we invite you to join us on May 18th at Camp St. Croix to bare legal witness to the beginning of our next chapter.
