Anya moved to Long Island in June 2014 to start residency. Marc and Anya met in January 2015. How did they meet? They both swiped right.

For their first date, they met at a Korean BBQ restaurant. That evening they knew there was something special after they both told the same joke at the same time (both commenting on their trust in the waiter's recommendations because they were lifelong friends with the waiter. It was funny and cute in the moment. You had to be there). They talked all evening until the restaurant closed and kicked them out.

Well, let's just say, Anya mentioned her ancient computer's terrible blue screen. Marc offered to fix it in return for dinner.

It didn't take long for them to realize how much they have in common. They both love playing music and found duets for cello and clarinet to play together.

Their silliness and goofiness has made everyday something special

They both love adventure and trying new things. Marc took Anya on her first camping trip...

And of course by a crazy series of events, they got Charley in Febuary 2016, and their lives have never been the same.

Horseshoe Bay Beach, Bermuda

Anya and Marc traveled to Bermuda on a cruise together with Marc's family. During the first few days of the trip, Anya noticed that Marc was behaving strangely, frequently going off on his own on the ship. He wouldn't let her help him pack his bag for the trip or move his book bag. Anya became suspicious! Of course Marc had the RING with him all along but had to move it from location to location, worrying that Anya would come across it. When coming on and off the cruise ship, they had to go through a customs security scanner area. Every time they went through, Marc was afraid they would open the bag and reveal the ring. He was prepared to propose every time if it happened. Luckily, no one snooped.
On Thursday, October 27th, 2016, Marc and Anya had plans to go to Horseshoe Bay Beach to relax. Marc suggested that they climb one of the cliffs on the beach. The view was beautiful and the weather was perfect. Marc asked Anya to spend the rest of her life with him, and of course she said yes! Together they carefully descended from the cliff. They took a bus back to the ship to tell their families and to begin celebrating. In the bus, they reveled in their sweet happiness and news, while the songs of a Bee Gees concert played on the bus TV.
