In 2010, our paths converged amidst the vibrant campus life of Drew University. Little did we know, this chance meeting would mark the beginning of a beautiful journey together.

In 2012, while Marcela continued her studies, Andrew graduated and took a leap of faith, moving to Ohio to work for the Obama campaign. Despite the distance, our bond remained unbreakable, strengthened by our shared values and commitment to making a difference in the world. Finally, after Marcela returned from studying abroad, in January 2013, we officially became a couple.

After Marcela graduated from Drew, she embarked on her two-year journey with Teach for America. Andrew stood by her side, offering unwavering support, while he lived and worked in DC, helping to run political campaigns across the country.

Our story took a new turn in 2015 when we decided to start a new chapter together in Boston, where we built a cozy home filled with warmth and shared dreams. Our journey became even more vibrant with the addition of furry companions - Oscar in 2016, Gizmo in 2017, and Buttons pup in 2019 - forming a furry family that brought endless joy and laughter into our home.

Our love story reached new heights in June 2022 when Andrew proposed to Marcela at the serene cabin in Maine, surrounded by the tranquility of nature (and a guy that just had to rake his yard at the same time). As the sun danced on the water, Marcela said yes after finding a ring in a wheel of her favorite cheese, sealing their commitment to each other with a promise of forever.

Our journey is a testament to the power of love, resilience, and shared adventures. With our furry companions by our side and hearts full of dreams, we eagerly anticipate the countless chapters yet to be written.
