Tommy and Marcie met on Hinge on November 15, 2022. They went to La Lucha and the conversation just flowed. If you know Marcie and Tommy, both are big story tellers! So they spent the whole dinner chatting each other's ears off! Tommy got a dirty martini and Marcie some pink bubbles! She learned later that bubbles was one of Tommy's favorite drinks. A true Match!! Tommy and Marcie shared all the silly things and the serious things. They talked about faith, family, and future. All things that were important to the both of them. The converstation flowed for over 2 hours and they both were interested in a 2nd date...soon!

The second date was a fun activity! Tommy picked up Marcie and drove to TOP GOLF where Marcie schooled Tommy in the game of Angry Birds. It was then that Tommy knew he would Marry Marcie! They had a great time. Marcie, not a golfer but an appreciator of the game, wanted so badly to impress Tommy with her golf knowledge...because we know it wasn't going to be her skills! What else was the 8:00am golf class for at Baylor other than to impress her future husband! (ok fine...and understand what the heck the rest of her family was talking about). After the TopGolf Tommy and Marcie went back to her place where she introduced Tommy to her dog Bella. The way he loved on her made Marcie all too smiley!

The next few days go by and it is Thanksgiving Break for Marcie! (Teacher Perks!) They spend so much of Marcie's break together! It was relaxing and exciting to be spending time with someone new and exploring these feelings! She learned more about Tommy's job and got to meet Moose, Tommy's dog!

As the days go on, the cuties continue to spend time together and start falling for eachother. On December 1, 2022 Marcie had Pre Area auditions for All State auditions. She had 3 students participating in this round and 1 student advanced to area, a FRESHMAN! (if you know this process...you know how amazing this is!)....(ok Marcie stop bragging....-->it's relevant to the story I promise) After the audition, Marcie goes to celebrate the success of the freshman with Tommy and tommy had a bottle of wine set up ready to share with Marcie. and then he passed her note. He said "tonight we celebrate like freshman" The note said "Will You Be My Girlfriend? Check Yes or Heck Yes!!" It was the cutest (and also silliest) thing Marcie could have every dreamed of. It was a resounding yes! They finally took their first picture on their Zoo Lights Date!! From then on Marcie and Tommy have been living life's adventure and can't wait to get married this summer!
