Many years ago Marcus and Gena met on Facebook. Marcus jokingly claims that Gena added him, and he messaged her, asking, “Do I know you?” Even though they went to different high schools, they would occasionally cross paths through mutual friends and chat. It wasn’t until 2016, in their early twenties, that they discovered their love for each other. Gena was busy with college, and Marcus was starting his business. Since then, they’ve been inseparable—spending nearly every day together, through both joyful and challenging times—with their beloved dog Domo by their side.
